And that is the basis of all morality". - Brooke Davis, when running for Student Council President Brooke Davis was the rich, popular, and promiscuous cheerleader at Tree Hill High. The outgoing beauty's partying ways were a means to mask the vulnerability she kept hidden, stemming from her parents' absence from her life. Though seen by many as nothing but a pushy, flirty and judgmental cheerleader, Brooke began to reveal a different side when she experienced her first love, Lucas Scott. Her softer side blossomed in the last few years of high school, and she immersed herself in school activities, including taking the role of Cheerleading Captain of the Tree Hill Ravens, Student Council President, and the founder of a car service called "DW not I," which picked up drunk kids and took them home to discourage drinking and driving. Following a breakup with Lucas Scott, she started to focus on what she loved to do: design clothes. This talent quickly led to a launched website that became her own fashion line, Clothes Over Bros. The success of the clothing line quickly grew, and Brooke received an offer by Victoria's Secret to sell the line. Brooke eventually had to choose between showcasing her designs at a New York Fashion Show and starting her career, or leading her Tree Hill Cheerleaders to their final competition and finishing senior year with her friends. Brooke chose the latter, deciding she wasn't ready for the high-paced fashion world and wanting to spend the end of high school with the people she came to love. After graduating from Tree Hill High School in North Carolina, Brooke moved to New York City to pursue her dream as a fashion designer. Five years after graduating high school, Clothes Over Bros has become a full blown fashion company headed by Brooke herself, but with the business side carried out by her mother, Victoria. With the help of Victoria, the Clothes Over Bros dynasty expanded to include B. Davis magazine and a high end Couture line. (End of Show Canon) Still living in New York City after several failed attempts to evade her mother's controlling nature, Brooke finally fires Victoria and ends their business partnership. Certain that her new designed line, Baby Brooke, will keep her head above the water, Brooke takes on the business side of the company and continues to fend off her mother's attempts to legally get control of Clothes Over Bros. Brooke's Canon NY!Verse: is derived from the events of the first four seasons of the CW's One Tree Hill, and then becomes AU. Because Brooke's canon does not include her return to Tree Hill as in One Tree Hill season five, she is part of an AU!One Tree Hill where she lives in New York and struggles to find out who she is, with the help of friends. Canon: would follow the show's canon, where Brooke came back from New York in season five and is living in Tree Hill. She gave up Clothes Over Bros to her mother, but Victoria gives it back later in an emotional reunion and Brooke asks her to stay on as a partner.
